Project Story
This project began as a large resort development that needed to move from master plan and references into a full exterior 3D vision. The client wanted the whole site modeled in Revit, with the buildings, landscape, pools, and overall environment prepared for realistic exterior renders.
The design direction evolved through discussion and review. At first, the focus was on understanding the different parts of the resort — hotel suites, room clusters, tents, villas, clubhouse areas, and the relationship between the buildings and the landscape. The client wanted the overall feeling to stay minimal, simple, and zen-like, with a unique mix of Texas character and Asian-inspired calm.
As the project developed, the site started to feel more complete. The architecture became part of the landscape instead of standing alone, with outdoor areas, pools, paths, and open views helping the resort feel relaxed and connected. The final visuals gave the client a clearer sense of how the full development could feel as a destination — quiet, modern, warm, and naturally placed within its surroundings.
